Just got Brutal Legend! Very Cool!

Journal Entry: Thu Oct 15, 2009, 4:47 PM
With appearances by Ozzy and Lemmy from motorhead, I figured this was going to be a cool game, soundtrack is excellent, and the game has a great art style.
What was most surprising is that the game is both an open sandbox with sidequests with your normal hack and slash fighting, and has battles that are real time strategy in the vein of starcraft, or command and conquer.
Solid game, definately going to be playing this and then moving on to Uncharted 2.

Btw, if you are looking for a good movie at blockbuster and you don't know what to get, I recommend "Assasination of a High School President" with Bruce Willis, think it had limited theater release and headed to dvd quickly, but it was a damn good watch and had an extremely good soundtrack, all bands that I never heard of before, but great songs nonetheless!

Later. :)

  • Listening to: Black Eyed Peas-The End
  • Reading: Transmetropolitan(again hehe)
  • Watching: Curb Your Enthusiasm
  • Playing: Brutal Legend
  • Eating: Doritos 2-in-1 bag, pizza-ranch
  • Drinking: Diet DR. Pepper

hey man.
I just put up a first sketch of the team up im thinking of doing...its just pencil but is it enough detail for you or shall i put it up once ive inked it?
sweet.
:iconedward-james-k:
hmm, if it's the Spidey versus Cap pencils, I would work the pencils a bit more with Cap, being that he is closer to the viewer than spidey,i.e suit texture, wings on head, etc, and then yea, inks would be be solid, i'm into a backlog of school assignments, so it's less work for me when I go to color.

George, i'm gonna be totally honest with you, you are an absolutely amazing photographer/artist, to the point that it probably should be your calling in life, i.e. classes and a degree and as your profession.
I'ts really no surprise that you excel at
photography because you also have artistic and creative skills with etching, drawing, and musical ability...you are definately a bona-fide left brain artist.
However... your eye for a great photo is so good it's criminal hehe. you constantly amaze me, I always respected your art and music abilities, but when you started displaying your Photos on deviant my respect for you jumped tenfold, we both work in different mediums, but I see you as a total peer these days...A Fantastic Artist in his own right, and that's the absolute truth...been wanting to tell you that for a while now.

Keep on Trucking buddy!

Your words are very kind Ed...I'm humbled as well as speechless...I will say this though...Photography, I have found, is THE easiest or most natural way for me to be creative/expressive...I enjoy it Very much, and feel totally enriched/fulfilled using it as my newest medium...You however, also impress in your ability to take command of your "tools of the trade"...This newer stuff I've been sein' lately, is very well done...I like your attn to detail...
